DEPARTMENTS

Duties:

a) To determine the procedures and principles regarding the planning, design and construction of the infrastructure systems and technical infrastructure facilities of the local administrations,

b) To determine the procedures and principles regarding all kinds of surveys, projects, building licenses and occupancy permits related to the infrastructure systems and technical infrastructure facilities of local administrations,

c) To ensure the cooperation and coordination between local administrations regarding the establishment of technical infrastructure facilities and infrastructure unions, as well as providing guidance, and keeping an inventory of technical infrastructure facilities,

ç) To carry out or get the relevant services for the projects on the renovation, renewal and transformation practices to be implemented in the urban and rural areas & settlements including those not classified as forest and pasture due to deterioration due to slum areas, coastal zones and facilities, along with the special project areas which can contribute in the development of the city and improving the brand value of the same such as finance and trade centers, fair and exhibition areas, recreation centers, main entrance point of the cities, and also the practices put into practice by the Housing Development Administration pursuant to Mass Housing Law no.: 2985 and Slum Areas Law no.: 775, oriented at the projects of infrastructure, multi-storey, bridged junctions; to make the arrangements concerning the allocation of infrastructural participation amounts to the property owners in such areas,

d) To carry out or contract a third party for the works and procedures regarding the planning, project and construction of infrastructure system and technical infrastructure facilities in the areas within the scope of the Law No. 6306 on Transformation of Disaster-Prone Areas

e) Within the scope of the payments to be made in the matters falling within the scope of its duty, as the execution officer, to arrange the payment order documents and its attachments and to send the same to the relevant Department with the objective to ensure the accounting works of them are completed,

f) To fulfill the similar duties assigned by the General Manager.
